  The Power of One      

Let's picture this for a moment. I want to relax after a hard days activity, and go up on the net, on a site that pays me to surf. They also provide me my email location, and send me "pay to read" e-mail. If not, well, I'll just have the ones that do pay me to read, send them to my pay to surf e-mail location. People like "ahmolla". So I get paid additional money to read ads, while I am being paid to surf. That sounds interesting. And, while I am enjoying a couple of independent streams of money, being paid twice for the same minute of my time, the referrals I generated for my Affiliate program, are also surfing, reading and creating a third and fourth stream of money, ALL AT THE SAME TIME!!!

Let's see.......how much extra time have I had to take out of my family or work or play time, to earn this money? Not a minute! Not one second! I do this, anyway!!! The only difference is, now I'm being paid to do it. Apples? Heck, how do you like theCoconuts?

Now you're probably asking yourself, how did she come to realize all of this. Did she read it on the net. Did some genie, imp, leprechaun or minnehoonie tell her? Do you remember a rhyme from your childhood that started something like this: "Gather around dear children and hear, of the midnight ride of Paul Revear.... "Well, "Sit back, relax, light the lamp....read the story of Mike the Champ...." While surfing, I came across a site that would pay me to read ads. They paid from .03 to as much as .15 to read selected ads they would send me through my email. I checked into it, liked it, signed up and put it to work. I also came across a new portal that would pay me to surf. Again I checked into it, liked what I read, and signed up. Now both of these sites also pay for referrals, down some numbers of levels. And the more I surfed, with my attention focused on finding more sites like these. The more I started to look into them, the more I liked what I saw. Affiliate programs, portals, and paid e-mail and Safelist sites. I sent some of the information to a very few people on my mail lists, not being selective, just mailed them out. Then, I went to work, so to speak. The first five day period, just fooling around, I made $50.43. This was a combination of my personally signing up on sites, and reading email. I thought that was fantastic. It caused me to definitely stop and look more thoroughly into the potential of this thing. When I start putting a pencil to something, especially if it relates to earning a buck, I get real conservative. I mean REAL conservative. These affiliate programs for example.

Some pay as much as a $10.00 sign-up bonus for enrolling, and $5.00 on your lst level referrals. For this example, I'm going to sign up for free, and only use....$1.00 on new referrals. Some also pay up to $5.00 for second level enrollments, people your referrals bring in, your "second" level, and something on the third, fourth, etc. Most have some level of ongoing monthly income they pay on the activities of your referral downline. To some multiple level, anyway. I'm going to create a flow chart based on getting one referral a week. I'm only going to be paid, let's see.....a dollar ($1.00) for my referral, and .01 for my referrals, referrals and, like me, they're only going to get one a week. I'm not going to register any income from paid e-mail, or any other stream. Just what I and one referral can generate. Let's see how it goes. In light of what is actually paid, what we are talking about here, is pennies. But, real significant, pennies! Let's use an element of time of...20 weeks, and see what happens. Keep in mind, this is all conjecture at this point. 

Here we go.....In that first week, I enroll one referral. I earn...$1.00! Now there are two of us. Me and the referral. In the second week, we get one enrollee, each. I earn $1.00 on my new referral, and .01 on his. That's $1.01. Added to last weeks dollar, that's $2.01. (Keep in mind, that me and my referrals are all using the same programs, the same portals and e-mail locations.) Now, going into the third week, there are four (4) of us... So, in the third week, 4 get 4, and I earn $1.03. Total now....$3.04. Fourth week, there's 8, so 8 get 8, that’s 16. That's $1.15 + $3.04 = $4.19. Fifth week...16 get 32....

Pretty amazing, isn't it? All that's happened here, is that each individual did, each week, no more, no less, than I did. Recruited one new referral! Since all of my recruits are on first level, and stay there, and their referrals are on my second level and remain there, I get paid $1.00 for my referral and .01 for theirs. Now isn't that wonderful? And they just might buy something..... Now, there are a few variables here. Some of these recruits may fall off the vine.Let me ask you this. Do you think that there are enough people here to take up the slack? If you lose one or two...is there a possibility that the "group" might pick up one or two extra's? Maybe lot's, of extra's?

There are many people who say that safelists are a waste of time, money, and email space. They are right of course... for them. The reason there are some, no wait, many that make the above claims is because they don't know how to use them. They are too busy trying to sell you on whatever business they are involved with. And they wonder why they don't make any money!!!

Now let's flip the coin and talk about the people that swear by them. They know something about safelists and how to use them that the ones that think they are useless don't.

You see, the secret is that safelists are good for only one thing. And that is to drive traffic to your squeeze or landing page. A squeeze page is a mini sales page with an opt-in form on it. Paid To Read/ Paid to Click Programs: Can You Really Make Money From It?

Paid to read and paid to click programs, otherwise known as PTR/PTC are legitimate online scheme that are now proliferating on cyberspace. This method is employed by many internet companies in their advertising campaigns. These companies pay people for reading emails. They pay you when you click a link in the email and visit the site that they are advertising, usually for a set amount of time. Others offer payment for surfing, clicking links, banner or just for joining or subscribing to a program. They also give additional money when you get other people to join under your link.

Some people say, it's not worth they time. "Yes they pay, but for a measly sum.. and it takes so much time and effort before you receive your check".

About two years ago, I joined some of these PTRE companies and started reading emails and clicking links hoping that I can earn some amount for my gas. I earned a few bucks after six months and I am tempted to stop. But I realized that I only did one part of the system. I never advertise and tell anyone about it... and that's the reason why I never accumulate my earnings.

The secret to making money on PTR/PTC is to build a network of members under your name. You see, these companies give additional bonus if those people under you read their emails. And that's where the real buck is. Imagine, if you have 10 people under you and those 10 recruited 10 each, you will then be entitled to some amount everytime those 110 people click their emails. The good thing is that most of these PTR/PTC pay up to 5 levels of your downline.

May I just give you a few tips in case you are tempted to join a few of these PTR programs. Before joining any program, it is important that you read exactly their offers. What you should look carefully are the following:

• Payout Scheme: it is advisable to pick those that give low and reasonable payouts;
• Mode of Payment: usually, most PTR/PC pay in check but others also offer payment through e-gold, paypal or stormpay. Select what will be the most convenient on your situation;
• Pay rates: The range is usually from 1 cent to 10 cents, but others also give special rates for special click options and pay to join program;
• Sign-up Bonus: Usually, it's better to pick those that offer lower sign-up bonus. Those that give $50, $100 will put you waiting because, their payout will also be much higher.

There is one last thing: Joining too many PTRE programs may clutter your mailbox. For starters, it is advisable to pick at least 10. Make sure that these programs also give you some freedom to choose the type and categories of product ads that you wish to receive. That way, you can also have some enjoyment of viewing the offers.

To build you network, it is important to put those ten PTRE companies into one URL to make your referral task more easier. There are some sites that offer site consolidation.

Good for starters. If you join from their site, you also learn to set-up your own mini website that will offer all the programs that you join.. all for free. I suggest that you visit the site to overcome your possible difficulty in building your downlines.

PTRE is all for real and its free. If you need money and looking for a job, certainly this can help. But never expect to get enormous riches out of it.
